Assalamu Alaikum Dear Students, Parents, Teachers and Community Members,
Eid Mubarak. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, prayer, and good deeds. Ameen
Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year at Annoor Islamic School (AIS), where Islamic Values and Academic Knowledge are integrated to develop student personality. All of us at AIS look forward to welcome students on Monday, August 11. We are excited to see so many new faces enrolled insha Allah.
The beginning of each school year is a time filled with hope and great anticipation of what is to come, Alhmadulleh, AIS is prepared to make this year enjoyable, busy and productive. As parents, you have taken an important step toward assuring yourselves and your child of a proper education in an Islamic environment. We sincerely hope that your child will find joy and appreciate the peace and quality learning associated with daily practice of the Islamic way of life.
At Annoor Islamic School, we are committed to provide excellence in education while nurturing Muslim character. We are concerned with the development of the whole child. We offer a program of strong academics, aligned with Kansas Department of Education adopted curriculum (Common Core State Standards), integrated with Islamic knowledge, values and morals utilizing most updated educational technology to provide quality teaching and learning. Although we share a common bond through our faith, we respect our students as individuals and celebrate our diversity, which includes a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds.
Our goal is to strive for academic excellence in an Islamic setting. Annoor Islamic School has been providing quality education to pre-kindergarten through Grade 8th students for 20 years. Our graduates are outstanding in their accomplishments; they have positive impact in different walks of life and the well-being of their community and country. The school prides itself on the caring and family-like environment where everyone knows his/her responsibilities to provide and maintain an atmosphere that encourages community values, learning as a life-long process, and Islam as a way of life.
As an accredited school by Kansas Department of Education I encourage you to see our school achievement records and students’ academic results at www.ksde.gov and learn more about students’ behavior and accomplishment at school website http://www.myannoor.org
It is my pleasure to invite you, your family and your friends to visit AIS to see and experience firsthand what our students are learning and what we offer them. I will be happy to welcome you and your child to answer your questions.
Fi aman Allah
